I have spent my life working in service of healing the body and mind, through work as a Massage Therapist and before that in Home Health Care, Hospice, Meditation and Retreat Center Management, and Brain Injury Recovery. I have a special interest in working with medically complex clients and people with special healthcare needs. I especially enjoy my work with children in palliative care and hospice.
In May 2022 I completed a Massage Therapy Fellowship at UCSF in the Hospital Based Massage Therapy Program (HBMT), at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. In 2016 I completed the Diamond Light School of Massage and Healing Arts- 500 hour Certified Massage Therapy (CMT) Program, where I studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, and Pregnancy massage. I have since completed advanced level Oncology Massage Therapy training and Massage training for people with Neurological Challenges. In 2018 I completed an advanced level Pediatric Massage Therapy Certification (Liddle Kidz Foundation).
I love working hands on with people to maintain or enhance their feelings of health and well being, and to help them feel more comfortable in their bodies and have some relief from pain and stress. Relaxation is something that we all need, and the ability to be relaxed results in benefits that will trickle down to all parts of our life.
I enjoy spending my free time doing yoga, hiking, cooking, gardening, meditating and romping around with my kids and husband throughout the Bay Area and beyond....
